The kids were too sick to spend the day at Grandma Robertson's with their cousins, so we tried to make it really fun at home. Everyone dressed in whatever black and orange they had. We made sugar cookies and then decorated them--the girls loved decorating their cookies--they would add some candy, eat it, lick off the frosting and be ready to decorate again! They didn't ever actually finish eating the cookie! That evening they were doing a little better so we decided to let them trick or treat a little. We dressed them up (Aubrey as a pirate, Mariah as a lion, and Jonathan as a bee. They were adorable (as you can see)! As soon as they remembered that you get candy at each door--they were running from door to door! Living in this area with townhouses everywhere makes for many doors without much walking--a definite plus with little kids!
