Amelia and I finally went on a bike ride again! It was our first since last spring because it just got too hot to go, not to mention all the craziness through the summer! (This picture is actually from last spring, she has grown a couple of inches, but still fit just fine in the seat). She was so excited as I got the bike ready, put her helmet on and buckled her into her seat! I love the seat because we can talk and point and I can hear her and see her excitement! We went up to the trail and someone was "walking" their horse, sitting in a buggy! It was pretty fun to see and to pass a horse and buggy on the trail-that's not something you see everyday! We got off the trail and went over into an area of irrigated homes and horse property. It was so green and pretty and refreshing and there was a nice breeze in the air! Amelia LOVED it and would wave to animals, telling them hi and goodbye ("bye cow" "HORSEY!!!" "Hi doggy"). We stopped at a park and she went down the slides a bit before we headed back home. It was so cute and one of those moments when you feel like a good mom while having a really pleasant time yourself.
Oh, and this was after we came home-Mill walking around in some of my super high heels! She did pretty good, though I could tell it was quite the workout for those little legs! Sorry for the sideways picture-not sure how to remedy that yet!
